Of course overpaid is a subjective term. What do you consider overpaid? These CEO's were execs paid well and performed bady, but again "badly" is subjective.
Abercrombie's Michael Jeffries was awarded total compensation of $71.8 million last year, with a base salary of $1.5 million, according to the Corporate Library.
James W. Stewart, BJ Services Company. The bulk of James Stewart's $34.6 million windfall came from value realized on stock options, which resulted in a $30 million jackpot
Comcast CEO Brian Roberts received total compensation of $40.8 million last year.
John Faraci, International Paper. CEO got total compensation of $38.2 million.
Eugene Isenberg, Nabors Industries.
With total compensation of $79.3 million, Eugene Isenberg ranked No. 8 on the list of 10 highest paid CEOs, according to Corporate Library.

A case can be made that there should be an excess income tax where any personal income that averages above $8 million dollars a year over a 5 year period should be subject to a 70% tax. But if I was making that kind of money I probably would disagree.
